Bob opened The Guitar Guild in 1974
as an alternative to the "back of the music store" environment.

Over the years, there have been many students who started lessons at a young age, worked hard, practiced and eventually went onto careers in the music/entertainment industry either as performers or behind the scenes in production.

While not every student will go
into the music business, the primary goal of the teachers at The Guitar Guild is to show how enjoyable playing an instrument and learning music theory can be, and that with practice and perseverance their creative goals can be reached.
