Bob Cappetta - Guitar bob

   Bob is the founder and owner of the Guitar Guild & Academy of Musical Arts. He has a bachlors, masters and an ABD (All But Dissertation) degree in music education. He has been a member in many bands and has worked professionally in studios around the world. With over 35 Years of Teaching Experience in the Art of Guitar Playing, no one has more lessons & tips to pass on than him. A true Master Musician, Bob is a truly gifted artist and has made Guitar Guild what it is today. A Success!





Eileen - Voice and Acting eileen

    Eileen has been teaching at the Guitar Guild for two years and offers private singing lessons as well as private acting lessons and group acting classes. All ages and levels are welcome! Eileen tailors each lesson to fit the student's experience and goals. She feels that proper technique presented in an entertaining way is the key to successful lessons.  She specializes in audition and performance preparation as well as introduction to singing for children as young as 5 years old.

Eileen has been involved in the arts since early childhood, landing her first professional musical theatre job at age 16. She attended a performing arts high school, was involved in All-South and All-State Jersey choirs, and went on to obtain a degree in Theatre Performance at Rowan University. She has won a great deal of awards and competitions for vocal performance and acting, including The Governor School of the Arts vocal award, several ACTF acting awards, and has held numerous pageant titles. Eileen's first love is performing, but has found teaching to be one of the most rewarding experiences that one could ever have.

Warren Wenger - Violin

Mr. Wenger began has been playing violin for over 40 years. He attended the Philadelphia Musical Academy where he received a Bachelors of Music degree in Musical Performance on the violin. Mr. Wenger played in the Lansdowne Symphony, the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey and with the Pennsport String Band in Philadelphia. He plays in church and professionally for weddings and special occasions.

Mr. Wenger has been teaching music lessons for over 30 years.


David Brown

Profession: Private Brass Instructor

(trumpet, trombone slide and valve, baritone/euphonium, tuba)

Finishing up degree in Elementary Education from Rowan University, High School graduate of Delran High School (2 time Western Burlington County Honors Band)Teaching Method: I believe that music is for everyone of all ages. I adapt my curriculum to each student’s particular interest and level. There is no experience needed in my classroom and I handle students of all ages and experiences.

Melissa Mack -- Woodwinds

Melissa Mack has been teaching private music lessons throughout the South Jersey area for just over a year now.  She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with an instrumental concentration from West Chester University.  She currently teaches for Northeastern Music Programs, running band programs at several different private schools in Southern New Jersey.  Melissa believes that everyone can benefit from involvement with music and that everyone should be given the opportunity to play an instrument.  She tries to make lessons as educational as possible while still having fun, because without the fun, the students will not gain anything from lessons.  Melissa is currently available for lessons with the Guitar Guild on Tuesday evenings, with some flexibility for other evenings if necessary.


Eric Polack -- Percussionist

Eric Polack has been playing and teaching music for 25 years with extensive jazz drumset experience in addition to many years of drumming in rock and blues groups; he has performed as a percussionist in theater pit orchestras, baroque orchestras, and concert stage band.

Having grown up in the New York metropolitan area, he was able to study with some of the best jazz drum instructors and passes that knowledge down to his students. He teaches all levels, from complete beginners to advanced students.
Mr. Polack is also on the faculty of Rutgers-Camden, where he directs the student Jazz Ensemble and teaches music history and undergraduate drumset lessons, and Burlington County College, where he teaches music history. He holds a B.A. in Music and an M.A. in Jazz History and Research from Rutgers University.



Susan Polack -- Voice Performance

Susan Polack has been singing professionally for nearly 30 years. She has performed nationally and internationally and has both film and recording credits. Ms. Polack has been heard as a featured soloist with the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra, the Colorado Springs Orchestra, the Opera Company of Colorado, the New York Opera Project, the Raritan Valley Orchestra, the Philadelphia Kantorei, The Crossing, The Bridge Ensemble, the Philomusica Chorale, and the West Jersey Chorale. During her 16-year tenure as a professional chorister, she has performed numerous solo roles as well for the Opera Company of Philadelphia. Not limited to classical repertoire, Ms. Polack also enjoys performing jazz standards and cabaret songs with The Uptown Jazztet, a local jazz trio led by her husband, drummer Eric Polack.

Ms. Polack received a Bachelor of Music degree from Colorado College and a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She also holds a Master of Arts and Teaching (Elementary Grades) and was a tenured public school teacher.

Ms. Polack teaches both children and adult voice students. Healthy vocal practice is emphasized to ensure a lifelong enjoyment of singing.
